SUGARED POP CORN 
Use a heavy skillet with a tight fitting cover.

Measure 1/4 cup sugar and set aside. Heat 1/2 cup cooking oil and 1/3 cup popcorn. When first kernel pops, add sugar and stir (hold lid over skillet while stirring).

When it starts popping again, shake as any other popcorn. When popping stops, pour quickly into large bowl. (Don't wait for last kernel to pop as it burns easily.)
