2 c. cooked chicken or ham
2 c. raw macaroni
2 cans cream of mushroom
1 med. onion, chopped
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. milk
3 tbsp. butter
1 c. grated Cheddar cheese

Combine all the ingredients except for cheese. Put in buttered 9 x 13 inch cake pan or casserole dish. Top with cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. May be made overnight and put in refrigerator.
