BROCCOLI CASSEROLE | |
2 pkgs. broccoli 2 tbsp. butter, melted 2 tbsp. flour 1 1/2 c. milk 3/4 c. Cheddar cheese, shredded 3/4 c. buttered bread crumbs 6 crisp slices bacon, crumbled 1/2 c. stuffed olives, sliced Cook broccoli in salted water for 6 minutes. Combine butter and flour. Add milk. Cook stirring constantly until thickened. Blend in cheese. Place half of crumbs in greased baking dish; cover with half of broccoli. Sprinkle with bacon and olive slices; pour on half of cheese sauce. Add remaining broccoli, then sauce. Top with remaining crumbs. Bake at 350 degrees F. for 30 minutes. Yield: 6-8 servings. |
