GARLIC BREAD TOPPED WITH CHEDDAR 
1 loaf French bread
1/2 c. butter, melted
1 tsp. garlic powder
2 c. grated yellow Cheddar
Dried dill weed
Mayonnaise

Split loaf of bread lengthwise. Melt butter and stir in garlic powder. Brush onto bread. Place under broiler until light brown. Spread thin layer of mayonnaise on bread. Sprinkle with grated cheese, then sprinkle lightly with dill weed. Return to broiler until cheese melts. Slice and serve.
