SHOE PEG VEGETABLE SALAD 
1 can shoe peg white corn, drained
1 can French cut string beans, drained
1 can sm. peas, drained
1 sm. jar pimientos
1 c. onion, chopped
1 c. celery, chopped
1 jar mushrooms, drained

DRESSING:

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. salad oil
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. white vinegar
1 tbsp. water
1 tsp. pepper

Bring dressing ingredients to a boil; cool. Pour over the vegetables and marinate in the refrigerator overnight. This is a good salad to prepare in advance.
