OLD TIME POUND CAKE 
6 eggs
3 c. flour (Swans Down)
2 sticks butter
1 tsp. flavoring (any flavor)
3 c. sugar
1 c. milk
1/2 c. Crisco

Cream sugar, butter and Crisco. Add egg yolks one at a time. Beat well after each. Add flour and milk alternately. Add flavoring. Beat egg whites stiff and fold in. Cook 20 minutes on 350°F, then 1 hour and 10 minutes on 300°F.
