SWEET AND SOUR PORK 
MARINADE:

1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. soy sauce
2 tsp.cornstarch
Dash pepper

Mix marinade ingredients in medium bowl. Slice pork thinly. Add pork marinade, let stand 30 minutes.

SWEET AND SOUR SAUCE:

1/2 c. water
1/3 c. each sugar and vinegar
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1 tbsp. soy sauce

Combine ingredients for sauce in small saucepan. Cook over high heat, stirring constantly, until clear and thick. Set aside.

1 lb. lean pork
2 tbsp. oil
1/2 c. thinly sliced carrot
2 tbsp. water
8 oz. can pineapple chunks, drained
3 green onions, cut in 2 inch lengths
1 green pepper, cubed

Place wok on burner set at high. Add oil, heat until very hot. Stir fry pork until white, add carrot and water. Cover; cook 2 minutes. Add pineapple and sweet and sour sauce. Bring to a boil. Add green onion and green pepper; cook 30 seconds. Serve over rice. Can also be made with chicken.
