TORTILLAS AND BEANS 
1 c. dried pinto beans
1 c. dried kidney beans
1 c. tomato sauce
1 tbsp. molasses
1 tsp. powdered cumin
1 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. garlic powder
2 tbsp. cooking oil
1 tomato, chopped
1 pepper, chopped
1 carrot, grated
8 oz. cheese, grated
Lettuce, shredded
Sour cream or yogurt
Hot sauce (if desired)
Tortillas

Soak dried beans overnight; discard soaking water. Add fresh water; bring to a boil, then simmer for 1 1/2 hours. Drain, mash beans, add tomato sauce, molasses, cumin, chili powder, and garlic powder. Cut vegetables and cheese, putting each item in a separate bowl on table. Fry bean mush in oil. Warm tortillas in 200 degree oven for 2 minutes. To serve, put line of beans in tortillas and let each person choose what to put into tortilla. Roll tortilla up and eat.
