OYSTER STEW 
1/2 c. butter
2 pt. fresh or canned oysters
1 pt. cream
1 qt. milk
1-1/2 tsp. salt
pepper to taste

Melt butter in skillet then add oysters. Cook over low heat for 10 minutes. Combine oysters with other ingredients in large saucepan. Simmer, stirring occasionally, for 20 minutes. Reheat before serving.
