THICK, CHEAP AND EASY HOT SAUCE (No Salt) | |
Hot peppers (the long finger hots are best) Olive oil Cider vinegar (or dry red wine) Dried, ground, red (cayenne) pepper Water Chop into thirds or fourths 1/2 pound of long finger peppers. Put them into a blender. Add 1/4 cup cider vinegar or 1/2 cup wine and as little water as you need to get the peppers into a paste. Blend in 2 pinches of cayenne pepper. Blend in 3 tablespoons of olive oil. Boil mixture for two minutes. Chill and serve. |
