THICK, CHEAP AND EASY HOT SAUCE
(No Salt)
 
Hot peppers (the long finger hots are best)
Olive oil
Cider vinegar (or dry red wine)
Dried, ground, red (cayenne) pepper
Water

Chop into thirds or fourths 1/2 pound of long finger peppers. Put them into a blender. Add 1/4 cup cider vinegar or 1/2 cup wine and as little water as you need to get the peppers into a paste. Blend in 2 pinches of cayenne pepper. Blend in 3 tablespoons of olive oil. Boil mixture for two minutes. Chill and serve.
