MARBLE - TOP WALNUT BARS 
3/4 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 lg. egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. semi-sweet chocolate
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. chopped walnuts
3/4 c. marshmallow creme

Resift flour with baking powder and salt. Melt butter and cool slightly. Beat eggs with sugar and vanilla. Stir in butter, then flour mixture, blending until smooth. Stir in 1/4 cup of the walnuts.

Turn into greased 9 inch square baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees about 18 minutes, just until top springs back when lightly touched in center and edges turn slightly brown. Remove from oven and sprinkle hot cakes with chocolate pieces and remaining 3/4 cup walnuts. Top with marshmallow creme and return to oven for 2 minutes, swirl with spoon and cool before serving.
