BREAD STUFFING 
4 tbsp. butter
4 slices bacon, chopped
1 1/2 c. dried bread crumbs
1/4 tsp. dried thyme leaves
1/4 tsp. dried sage
Salt & pepper to taste

Melt butter in a skillet and add bacon. Cook slowly 10 minutes without browning. Stir bread crumbs, thyme, and sage and season to taste with salt and pepper. Makes about 2 cups stuffing.
