KAPUSTA 
8-10 finely chopped bacon slices
2 onions, chopped
1 sm. head shredded cabbage
1 bag or jar sauerkraut, drained, not rinsed

Fry bacon; add onion and saute. Add cabbage and sauerkraut, 1 teaspoon caraway seeds, 1 1/2 bay leaves, 10 peppercorns, and 2 cups hot water.

Then add your favorite sausage or pork ribs and cook slowly for several hours. For variety, prepare your favorite ground beef meatballs. "Bury" them in the above mixture to cook.
