SWEET DILL PICKLES (3 QUARTS) 
Cucumbers, slice lengthwise
3 sm. onions
3 lg. dill heads

Put dill and onion in bottom of 3 quart jars. Add cucumbers.

BRINE:

1/2 c. salt
2 c. sugar
1 c. water
3 c. vinegar

Bring to boil. Pour over the cukes in the jars. Seal. Ready to eat in 2 weeks.
