EGG AND SAUSAGE CASSEROLE 
12 slices bread
1 lb. link sausage
3/4 lb. grated cheddar cheese
6 beaten eggs
2 1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. salt
Pepper to taste

Cut bread in 1" cubes, crusts and all (better if not real fresh). Put in 9"x13" greased pan. Brown sausage. Drain and cut into small pieces. (You could substitute with ham or bacon.) Add to bread and mix. Beat eggs, add milk, mustard, and seasonings. Pour over bread and sausage to saturate. Cover with cheese. Put in refrigerator overnight. Bake, uncovered at 350 degrees for 1/2 hour and 300 degrees for 15 minutes. Reheats as leftovers. Serves 12.
