4 LAYER BANANA NUT CAKE | |
4 c. flour 1 1/4 tsp. baking powder 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. salt 1 c. shortening 3 c. sugar 4 eggs 3 bananas 1 1/4 c. buttermilk 1/2 c. nuts Cream sugar and shortening; add eggs one at a time. Add bananas in chunks. Add dry ingredients alternately with buttermilk. Add nuts. Put in ungreased pans and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. FROSTING: 1 c. milk 5 tbsp. flour 1 c. white sugar 1/3 c. shortening 1 c. butter 2 tsp. vanilla |
