SALTINE CRACKER COOKIES 
1 box saltine crackers
1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 c. chocolate chips
1/2-1 c. chopped nuts (opt.)

Line jelly roll pan or cookie pan with foil. Spray foil with Pam. Place saltine crackers, salt side up, in pan.

Melt butter; add sugar to this and boil 3 minutes. Pour on top of crackers. Bake at 375 degrees for 8 minutes. Then place chocolate chips on top. When melted, spread. Sprinkle with nuts if desired. Cool and tear apart.
