BUSY DAY CAKE (COBBLER) 
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. flour
3/4 c. milk
1 can drained cherries (save juice)
1 stick butter
1 c. sugar

Mix 3/4 cup sugar, flour, and milk in bowl. Melt 1 stick butter in a frying pan. Pour 1 can drained cherries over butter. Mix cherry juice and 1 cup of sugar and bring to a boil. Pour batter over cherries and juice over batter. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
