CHEESE - TOPPED PORK CHOPS 
1 tbsp. oil
6 chops 1/2" thick & trimmed
2 tbsp. butter
1/3 c. flour
2/3 c. milk
1 egg, beaten
2 tbsp. finely chopped onion
1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
3 tsp. dried parsley cheese
1/8 tsp. pepper

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Heat oil in large skillet over medium-high heat; brown chops. Arrange in ungreased 13 x 9 inch baking dish.

Melt butter in small saucepan over low heat; stir in flour. Gradually add milk. Cook until mixture thickens, stir constantly. (Mixture will thicken quickly.) Remove from heat; stir in egg. Add remaining ingredients; blend well. Spoon cheese mixture evenly over pork chops; cover. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes, uncover, bake additional 10-15 minutes until chops are tender. 6 servings.
