NANCY'S TACO SALAD 
1 can refried beans
1 can tomato sauce
1 sm. onion, chopped
1 c. shredded lettuce
1 c. sour cream
1 lb. ground meat
1 tbsp. chili powder
1/4 lb. Cheddar cheese, shredded
1 c. chopped tomatoes
1/2 c. avocado dip

Warm refried beans in the bottom of a large platter or quiche dish in low oven. Brown ground meat in skillet with onions, chili powder and tomato sauce. Spread on top of beans.

Put Cheddar on top and let melt (broil if heat from meat doesn't melt cheese). Put lettuce on top around outer edge, tomatoes inside that around, sour cream inside tomatoes and avocado dip in the center. Serve with tortilla chips. Recipe feeds 4 if used as a main dish.
