CHEATER'S LASAGNA | |
1 lb. hot Italian sausage 1 lb. ground beef 1 c. onion, chopped 2 tbsp. garlic powder 2 tbsp. sugar 2 tbsp. Mrs. Dash 2 (30 oz.) jars Ragu spaghetti sauce 1/2 lb. lasagna 2 tbsp. Italian seasoning 2 eggs, beaten 1 egg, beaten 1 tbsp. salt 1 tbsp. parsley flakes 1 lb. Mozzarella cheese, grated 15 oz. Ricotta cheese 1 c. Parmesan cheese 1 (14 1/2 oz.) can Italian style stewed tomatoes 1/4 c. milk Cook ground beef and Italian sausage. Drain off fat. Add Ragu sauce. Microwave onion for 2 minutes. Then add to sauce. Add garlic powder, sugar, Mrs. Dash, salt, Italian seasoning, tomatoes and 2 beaten eggs. Stir well and simmer for 20 minutes. While sauce is simmering, boil lasagna. Add 1 beaten egg and parsley to Ricotta cheese and beat. Add milk to Ricotta cheese until blend is like a very thick soup. Cover the bottom of a 13 x 9-inch baking dish with meat sauce. Layer on 1/2 the lasagna, then cover with 1/2 the Ricotta cheese, 1/2 the Mozzarella cheese and 1/2 the Parmesan cheese, and repeat the process. Cover with foil and bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes. Remove foil and continue baking for 20 minutes. |
