CINNAMON APPLES 
4 apples, peel and cut into halves
1 tsp. brown sugar
1 tsp. butter
cinnamon

Sauce:

3/4 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. cinnamon candy
1 c. water
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1 tbsp. butter

Peel apples and cut into halves. Fill apple cavity with mixture of brown sugar and 1 teaspoon butter. Sprinkle with cinnamon.

Bake at 350°F while you prepare cinnamon sauce.

Mix brown sugar, cinnamon candy and water; thicken with cornstarch on top of stove. Add butter. Pour over apples and return to oven.

Bake 45 minutes.
