7-UP POUND CAKE 
2 sticks butter
1/2 c. Crisco shortening
1/8 tsp. salt
1 tsp. butter flavoring
2 tbsp. lemon flavoring
3 c. sugar
5 eggs
3 c. cake flour
1 c. 7-Up

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Grease and flour bundt cake pan. Have ingredients at room temperature.

Cream the butter and shortening until soft, approximately 10 minutes. Add the salt, butter flavoring, and the lemon flavoring. Add the sugar, one cup at a time, until it dissolves, about 10 minutes. Add the eggs, one at a time, and continue to stir. Add the cake flour and the 7-Up, alternating so that the cake flour is the last addition. (I add 3/4 cup 7-Up, add 1 cup of cake flour, for 3 cycles.)

Pour into the bundt cake pan (which will be close to being full). Bake in a 325 degree oven for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
