ORANGE SLICE CANDY COOKIES 
2 c. brown sugar
4 eggs
2 tbsp. orange juice
1 lb. orange slices, cut up
1 c. nuts
2 c. sifted powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Beat eggs. Add sugar and juice. Sift flour with other dry ingredients, then add to egg mixture. Then add remaining ingredients. Mix well and pour into 8 x 16-inch pan.

Bake at 250°F for 1 1/2 hours. Cool and cut in squares, then roll in confectioners sugar.
