BROILED PARMESAN POTATOES 
Thinly slice the potatoes so they cook tender without burning.

2 tbsp. butter, melted
1 tsp. dried basil, crushed
1/2 tsp. paprika
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 med. potatoes, bias sliced
About 1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese

Stir together butter, basil, paprika, garlic powder and pepper. Place potato slices in a single layer on the unheated rack of broiler pan.

Brush with butter mixture over both sides of potato. Broil about 5 inches from heat for 8 to 9 minutes or until potatoes begin to brown.
