TROUT IN FOIL | |
number of trout you want to serve 1/4 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 1/4 tsp. garlic powder 1/3 c. sliced potatoes 1/4 tsp. Cajun seasoning mix 1/4 tsp. Cavender's seasoning 2 tbsp. butter or oil 1 tsp. lemon juice You will also need heavy foil. Put one headless fish on a square of foil. Sprinkle seasonings over the fish. Crumble the butter over and around the fish. Roll the foil so it can be fastened around sides and ends of fish. Cook over fire (charcoal or grill) for 5 minutes. Turn over and cook 5 minutes on other side or cook in oven at 400°F for 10 minutes, turning once. Vary the recipe by adding the thinly sliced potatoes and one tablespoon butter to the fish set-up. Cook as suggested. |
