BEST BROWNIES 
1/2 c. butter, melted
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs, do not use yolks
1/2 c. flour
1/3 c. cocoa
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 9 x 9 x 2 inch pan. In large mixing bowl, blend melted butter, sugar, and vanilla. Add egg whites, using spoon. Beat well. Combine flour, cocoa, baking powder, and salt; gradually blend into egg mixture. Stir in nuts, if desired. Spread into prepared pan. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until brownies begin to pull away from sides of pan. Cool. Frost with Creamy Brownie Frosting.

CREAMY BROWNIE FROSTING:

3 tbsp. butter, softened
3 tbsp. cocoa
1 tbsp. light corn syrup
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. confectioners' sugar
1 to 2 tbsp. milk

In small bowl, cream butter, cocoa, corn syrup, and vanilla. Add confectioners' sugar and milk. Beat to spreading consistency.
