PEANUT BUTTER EGGS | |
1 lb 10x (confectioners') sugar 3 oz cream cheese 12 oz peanut butter 1 tsp. vanilla 1/2 stick butter Coating: 1/2 box unsweetened chocolate 1/2 bar of paraffin Mix ingredients (except for coating) well with clean hands. Shape into eggs and place on cookie sheet covered with wax paper. Chill for 1/2 hour. Melt paraffin and unsweetened chocolate in a double boiler sauce pan (a big sauce pan filled with boiling water and a smaller one inside of it). Coat eggs with chocolate and chill for a few minutes. Wrap finished egg in plastic wrap. The ingredients are mixed better if you use your hands instead of a mixer. This recipe makes any amount you want - it just depends on the size of the egg you make.
