LICORICE FLAVOR LOLLIPOPS 
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. light corn syrup
1/3 c. water
1/4 tsp. anise flavoring, or any other
Food coloring, any color

Butter sides and bottom of 1 quart saucepan. Combine sugar, syrup, and water. Boil, stirring constantly. Bring to a hard crack stage, 300 to 310 degrees. Remove from heat and add flavor and color. Lay sticks on a buttered cookie sheet and pour candy from a buttered spoon over stick and let it harden. Can twirl stick in candy and lay on cookie sheet. This sets up very quickly, so work fast. If mixture gets too hard, set back on low heat until it softens.
