ROSIE'S TASTE-SO-GOOD BUTTERED
CHICKEN
 
1 pkg. chicken legs (cleaned and with the skin removed)
1 1/2 cups water
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, divided
Italian seasoning
salt (optional)

Open pack of chicken. Clean and remove all of the fat from it. You wont get the full flavor of the chicken if not well cleansed.

Place chicken in large pot on medium-low heat. Add one and a half cups of water into the pot. Place half a stick of butter into the pot, season, then let simmer for thirty to forty-five minutes.

Add the rest of the butter to the chicken. If chicken is not finished cooking, check on it every 15 to 20 minutes.
