SAUSAGE ZITI BAKE 
1 1/2 lb. sweet Italian sausage, casings removed
2 c. sliced mushrooms
1 lg. onion, chopped
1 (32 oz.) jar spaghetti sauce
1 (16 oz.) box ziti, cooked and drained
1/4 tsp. fennel seed
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
4 oz. shredded Mozzarella cheese

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large skillet, thoroughly brown sausage. Add mushrooms and onion; saute until vegetables are tender. Drain fat. Add spaghetti sauce, ziti, fennel seed, salt and pepper. Spoon into a 9x13 inch baking dish. Bake covered for 30 to 35 minutes. Sprinkle with cheese; bake 5 minutes, or until cheese melts. Serves 8.
