COUNTRY STYLE VEGETABLE SOUP 
1 lg. soup bone (beef)
2 med. onions, sliced
3 celery stalks
1 bay leaf
1 tsp. monosodium glutamate
1 tsp. seasoning salt
Salt and black pepper to taste
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 qt. water
1 qt. chopped ripe tomatoes, or 1 (#2) can tomatoes
1 tsp. sugar
1 1/2 c. sliced okra (fresh or frozen)
1 1/2 c. sm. green butter beans
1 1/2 c. corn
1/2 c. cabbage, chopped

Combine first 9 ingredients in large soup kettle and bring slowly to a boil. Cook slowly for at least 2 hours. Add remaining ingredients and cook an additional 1 hour. If soup is too thick, more water may be added.
