GRAMMA PERKINS' PEANUT BUTTER
FUDGE
 
2 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
3/4 c. Carnation evaporated milk or whole milk
2 tbsp. light corn syrup
4 tbsp. peanut butter
1 tsp. vanilla

Cook sugar, salt, milk, and corn syrup to soft ball stage (234 degrees). Cool. Add peanut butter and vanilla. Beat until creamy. Put in 9 x 9 x 2 pan.
