DOUGH COBBLER 
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. butter
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. sweet milk
1 1/4 cake flour
1/2 tsp. salt
Lemon or vanilla flavoring to taste

To make cake flour, use regular flour, remove 2 tablespoons from 1 cup and add 2 tablespoons of cornstarch.

Drop dough over boiling fruit mixture.

FRUIT MIXTURE:

3/4 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. any fruit
1 1/2 c. boiling water

Bake until brown at 375 degrees.
