1/3 c. brown sugar, packed
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. soft butter or shortening
1 egg
1/2 c. peanut butter (creamy)
1 c. plus 1 tbsp. flour
1/2 c. oatmeal
1 tsp. salt

In a large bowl add sugars, butter, or shortening and cream until smooth. Add 1 egg and peanut butter; mix until very smooth. Add flour, soda, and salt. Add oatmeal and stir until well blended.

Drop by teaspoon 2-inches apart onto an ungreased cookie sheet and press with fork. Bake at 350 degrees for 8-12 minutes or until golden brown.
