SOUR CREAM CRESCENTS | |
2 c. flour 1 c. butter 1 c. sour cream 1 egg yolk Mix ingredients all together and form into 4 balls. Refrigerate a few hours or overnight. Work with one ball at a time, keeping the others refrigerated. Roll out ball on a floured board as you would a pie crust. Sprinkle pie shaped dough with cinnamon and sugar (walnuts may also be added). Cinnamon and sugar should be mixed to your own taste. Cut dough into 16 pieces and roll each from the outside edge to the middle. Brush top with egg white. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes or until golden brown. Line cookie sheet with tin foil, lightly greased. Remove crescents from tin foil immediately. |
