FRIED POTATOES AND ONIONS 
3 tbsp. butter
4 med. potatoes (scrubbed with skins on)
1 med. onion
Salt (optional)

Microwave potatoes until soft. Melt butter in a frying pan. Slice cooked potatoes about 1/4 inch thick and add to butter. Slice onion into about 1/4 inch thick slices and add to pan. Over medium high heat, fry mixture turning when golden brown. Just before it's done, sprinkle salt on and mix to make the potatoes more crispy. Great with hamburgers, eggs, ribs or steak.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
