FRUIT APPLE SALAD 
3 green apples, unpeeled
3 red apples, unpeeled
1 (20 oz.) can pineapple chunks, drained
1 c. seedless green grapes, halved
1 c. seedless red grapes, halved
1 to 2 tsp. poppy seeds
1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. sugar
2 tbsp. water
1 tbsp. lemon juice
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. mayonnaise

Cut all the fruit and mix together. Drain pineapple chunks and reserve the juice. Cook pineapple juice, butter, sugar, and lemon juice in a small pan. Heat to boiling. Add cornstarch. Add water to hot mixture. Cook until thick. Chill completely before adding mayonnaise. Stir dressing into cut up fruit, then add poppy seeds. Chill.
