ENGLISH POUND CAKE 
1/2 lb. butter
1/2 c. Crisco
3 c. sugar
1 c. sweet milk
3 c. cake flour
5 eggs
1 tsp. rum flavoring
1 tsp. coconut flavoring
1 tsp. butter flavoring

Cream Crisco, butter, sugar, and eggs, one at a time, together. Add flavoring. Alternately add a small portion of milk, then flour to the creamed mixture. Grease and flour tube pan. Bake at 300 degrees for 1 hour and 45 minutes until golden brown and cake tests done.
