FRUIT COCKTAIL DESSERT 
1 c. flour
3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 egg
1 (No. 2) can fruit cocktail (drained)
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Sift the dry ingredients together; add slightly beaten egg and fruit cocktail. Spread in greased 8 x 8 inch pan. Sprinkle brown sugar and nuts on top. Bake at 300 degrees for about 1 hour. Serve with Cool Whip.
