PUMPKIN BARS 
1 c. brown sugar, packed
1/2 c. butter
3/4 c. canned pumpkin
2 eggs, well beaten
1 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt

Cream butter and sugar; add pumpkin and eggs and beat well. Blend in dry ingredients and mix thoroughly. Bake in greased 9 x 12 inch pan for 20 to 25 minutes in 350 degree oven until wooden pick comes out clean. Cool. Frost with cream cheese frosting.

FROSTING:

1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 tbsp. milk
2 1/2 c. powdered sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
