CHEESY PEARS 
1 can pear halves, drained (29 oz.)
1 pkg. cream cheese (3 oz.)
Apricot or other favorite preserves
2 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla

1. Arrange pear halves, cut-side-up, on glass serving plate or shallow dish.

2. Microwave cream cheese in glass bowl 1/4 to 1/2 minute or until softened. Stir until creamy. Blend in sugar and vanilla.

3. Spoon mixture evenly into pear halves. Top each with a small amount of preserves.

4. Microwave (high), uncovered, 3/4 to 1 minute (or until pears are warm, rotating plate once. About 6 servings.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
