APPLE PIE WITH SOUR CREAM 
2 tbsp. flour
3/4 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. sour cream
6 medium (Granny Smith) apples, peeled and sliced
1 unbaked chilled 9 inch shell

TOPPING:

1/3 c. flour
1/3 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 c. butter

Sift together flour, sugar, cinnamon and salt. Stir in egg, vanilla and sour cream. Fold in apples; spoon into pie shell. Bake 15 minutes at 400 degrees. Reduce oven to 350 degrees; bake another 30 minutes. Mix topping ingredients together with a pastry blender until mixture is crumbly. Sprinkle over pie; bake another 10 minutes at 400 degrees. Makes six servings.
