2 c. sugar
2 c. brown sugar
2 c. shortening
4 eggs
2 c. buttermilk
4 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. vanilla
8 c. flour

Mix and bake at 400 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes. Makes 11 to 12 dozen. Recipe can be cut in half easily.
