YUM-YUM SALAD 
1 pkg. gelatin
1/2 c. cold water
3 c. crushed pineapple
3/4 c. sugar
Juice of 1 lemon
3/4 c. American cheese, grated
1/2 pt. cream

One package gelatin, dissolved in 1/2 cup cold water. Stir over heat; add crushed pineapple, 3/4 cup sugar, and lemon juice. Allow to thicken slightly, then add the grated cheese and whipped cream. Chill.
