WAFFLES 
1 3/4 c. sifted flour
1 tbsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs, separated
1 1/4 c. milk
1/3 c. vegetable oil

Preheat waffle iron. Sift together dry ingredients. Combine egg yolks, milk, and oil. Stir into dry ingredients. Beat egg whites until stiff. Fold into batter. Bake in waffle iron, using scant 1/2 cup batter per waffle.
