BROWN SUGAR ICING 
2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter
1/4 c. sweet milk
1 lb. powdered sugar

Melt butter and sugar and cook over low heat 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Add milk and continue to stir until mixture comes to a boil. Remove from heat and cool. Add sugar until of right consistency to spread. Makes enough icing for 3 layers.
