ITALIAN SAUSAGE SOUP 
1 1/2 lbs. Italian sausage (hot or mild)
2 lg. onions, chopped
1 med. green pepper, chopped
2 cloves of garlic, minced
28 oz. Italian style tomatoes with liquid
4 (10 3/4 oz.) cans beef broth or consomme
1 1/2 c. dry red wine
1/2 tsp. basil leaves, crushed
Dash of Worcestershire sauce
3 c. uncooked shell macaroni (or other pasta)
2 tsp. fresh parsley, chopped
Grated fresh Parmesan cheese

Brown sausage; slice in 1 1/2 inch pieces. In a large pot, saute onions, pepper, and garlic in a little oil until onions are limp. Stir in tomatoes, breaking them into small pieces. Add broth, wine, basil, and Worcestershire sauce. Simmer 30 minutes. Stir in macaroni, parsley, and sausage. Simmer, covered, 25 minutes or until macaroni is tender. Serve with Parmesan cheese. Makes 8 servings.
