CHEESE STRAWS (Crackers) 
1 lb. extra sharp cheese
1/4 lb. butter, room temp.
2 c. flour
2 dashes salt
1/4 tsp. red pepper

Grate cheese and leave until room temperature. Mix cheese and butter. Add flour, salt and pepper gradually. (Blend with a dough hook.) Roll out, the thinner the better. Cut in strips. Bake at 400 degrees 8-10 minutes, ungreased cookie sheet.
