BROCCOLI SALAD 
5 Broccoli Florets (just the crowns) broken into bite size pieces
1 medium red onion, chopped
1/2 cup golden raisins
1/2 cup sunflower seeds
1/2 pound bacon, crispy fried and crumbled
1 tiny can of chopped black olives (optional)
1 can of water chestnuts-cut in bite-size pieces (optional; Some people use walnuts, pecans or shaved almonds)

Dressing:

1 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons vinegar (I use apple cider vinegar)
1/4 to 1/3 cup tablespoons sugar

In large bowl, combine salad ingredients. In small bowl, combine dressing ingredients: blend well. Just before serving, stir dressing into salad.
